Labour Notifications, Authorities and Delegations

Reviewed by Ravi Sisodia · Last reviewed 28 July 2026

Many Code powers become operational through notifications appointing authorities, prescribing areas, thresholds, rates, hours, exemptions, forms or delegations.

Expanded intelligence register: Central notifications & circulars · EPF/EPS/EDLI schemes · State rules · case-law intelligence.

Labour Code notifications, authorities and current instruments

A current source register for operational instruments that sit below the four Codes and final Central Rules. It is designed to stop a section page from being treated as the last legal step where an appointment, rate, jurisdiction or authority still depends on a Gazette notification.

Coverage standard

Direct official instruments are used where identified. A Ministry gateway is labelled as a gateway, not as proof of the exact operative term.

Update status

Key current Central instruments below were reconciled through 20 August 2026. This is not a representation that every State notification or every later departmental instrument has been individually captured.
