Labour Code notifications, authorities and current instruments
A current source register for operational instruments that sit below the four Codes and final Central Rules. It is designed to stop a section page from being treated as the last legal step where an appointment, rate, jurisdiction or authority still depends on a Gazette notification.
Coverage standard
Direct official instruments are used where identified. A Ministry gateway is labelled as a gateway, not as proof of the exact operative term.
Update status
Key current Central instruments below were reconciled through 20 August 2026. This is not a representation that every State notification or every later departmental instrument has been individually captured.

Coverage beyond Central notifications
- State rules / State notifications: must be checked where the State is the appropriate Government. Finin2min's OSH state-overlay routes should be treated as a research layer, not a blanket assertion of all-State completeness.
- Schemes: EPF/ESI/social-security scheme instruments may govern entitlements and contribution administration alongside the Code and Rules.
- Forms & portal instructions: use the current notified form and portal implementation, but do not substitute portal labels for Gazette authority.
- Judgments: predecessor-law case law may remain relevant through savings/continuity questions, but should not be mapped mechanically to a new Code section without proposition-level analysis.
