Editorial Policy

Last updated: June 2026

Finin2min is committed to producing accurate, unbiased, and actionable finance content for Indian investors, taxpayers, and business owners. This page explains our standards, processes, and the current state of our editorial review โ€” including where review is still in progress, rather than claiming a process is complete before it is.

Our Editorial Mission

We exist to make institutional-quality financial information accessible to every Indian โ€” from a first-time investor to a seasoned CFO. We aim for every guide, article, glossary term and calculator result to be produced or reviewed by a qualified finance professional. Some large reference sections (for example, our chapter-by-chapter statutory study guides) are currently extraction-assisted and carry a visible "Human QA pending" status until a named reviewer has signed off โ€” see Contributors for who that reviewer will be. We never accept payment to influence editorial content.

Editorial Independence

Finin2min maintains strict separation between editorial content and commercial interests:

Our Content Creation Process

01
Research
Primary sources: SEBI, RBI, IT Act, Finance Ministry notifications, NSE/BSE data.
02
Draft
Written by a subject-matter expert (CFA/CA/CFP) or a vetted finance writer.
03
Review
Fact-checked against current regulations by a senior reviewer with relevant credentials.
04
Publish
Published with author profile, reviewer name, publish date and methodology link.
05
Update
Reviewed after every Budget, SEBI circular, RBI policy change, or material market event.

Credentials We Require

Content on Finin2min is created or reviewed by professionals with one or more of the following qualifications:

CA (Chartered Accountant)

Content bylines are attributed to named professionals with the credential shown. Where a specific registration/membership number or credential-review date is not yet published on the Contributors page, it is marked there as pending verification rather than asserted โ€” we update that page as verification is completed.

Update & Review Policy

Trigger-Based Review

All content is reviewed immediately upon any of the following triggers:

Scheduled Review

All content pages display a "Last Updated" date. Our target is to review major guides at least annually even without a regulatory trigger, and to revisit calculator methodologies on the same cadence โ€” this is a target we are working toward, not a guarantee that every page has already received a review on that schedule. Each methodology entry on our Methodology page states its own last-reviewed date so you can check the actual status for that specific calculator.

Corrections Policy

If you identify a factual error in our content, please contact us at editorial@finin2min.com. We investigate all reported errors within 5 business days. Confirmed corrections are applied immediately and noted at the bottom of the relevant article.
