Find the correct Social Security form by event
The 2026 Central Rules forms register is most useful when it connects a practical event to the exact form, rule and document trail. A form’s presence in a Gazette does not mean it applies to every establishment, State or worker.
What the law or process actually requires
Map the employee’s nomination or revised nomination to Rule 32 and the relevant statutory gratuity chapter.
Identify the current workplace-display requirements and Rule 40(4) before posting the abstract.
Use Rule 53(1)(a) to identify the prescribed register and particulars where applicable.
Understand the Rule 59(2) applicant certificate, supporting medical/service facts and proceeding in which it is used.
Worked example: applying this to a real decision
A growing company adds its first eligible employees covered by the gratuity chapter. HR should not simply print every form listed in the Gazette. It maps coverage, the employee’s nomination event and Rule 32, retains signed Form III and tracks later personal changes requiring a fresh nomination.

- A form extracted from a Gazette may be superseded by a later notification or accepted portal version.
- Central forms do not automatically displace a State-specific rule where the State is the appropriate Government.
