125. Jurisdiction of civil courts barred.—No civil court shall have jurisdiction in respect of any
matter to which any provision of this Code applies and no injunction shall be granted by any civil court in
respect of anything which is done or intended to be done by or under this Code.

How to apply this provision

  1. Primary statutory test — No civil court shall have jurisdiction in respect of any matter to which any provision of this Code applies and no injunction shall be granted by any civil court in respect of anything which is done or intended to be done by or under this Code.
Why this is section-specific: the operative-clause, exception, threshold and cross-reference panels above are extracted from Section 125 itself rather than a generic “trigger/control/evidence” template.

For an establishment affected by jurisdiction of civil courts barred, the compliance owner should identify the applicable sector and authority, document the prescribed control/notice/record and retain inspection or training evidence. A text point to test is: “No civil court shall have jurisdiction in respect of any matter to which any provision of this Code applies and no injunction shall be granted by any civil court in respect of anything which is done or intended to be done by or under this Code.”
