Failure consequence and cure
Unqualified deployment or unavailable rescue capability can result in prohibition, prosecution and aggravated accident liability.
Where the Rule uses a portal, form or notified authority, a locally created substitute is not automatically equivalent. Cure should preserve the original due date and explain any late correction.
Worked implementation scenario
A mine changes its underground work area. Management updates tracings and emergency coverage, confirms rescue-team availability and apparatus tests, retrains affected workers and blocks deployment of anyone without current medical and training records.
