When and how this form is used

Rule 24(2)’s proviso uses Form X in the deceased-worker situation. The applicant’s entitlement to act and receive must be proved separately from the deceased worker’s underlying benefit.

This is an alternative deceased-worker scenario, distinct from the living-worker examples in Forms VII–IX.

Section 59(2) allows the Tribunal to extend the three-month decision period where necessary or expedient, with written reasons. The three-month figure is not an unconditional receipt-of-payment deadline.
