Chapter VIInformation privacy principles and furnishing of credit information
What this section provides
Privacy principles govern collection, processing, recording, preservation, protection, access, alteration, use and disclosure of credit information. Regulations 10–11 add detailed privacy and personal-data principles, including retention and access controls. Privacy analysis must distinguish lawful credit-information sharing under CICRA from unrelated secondary use.
