What this section provides

Defines the core actors: borrower, client, credit information company, credit institution, specified user and Reserve Bank. ‘Credit information’ covers funded and non-funded facilities, security, guarantees, creditworthiness and other RBI-specified matters. Definitions control the reach of later duties; a person may be a ‘client’ even where acting as guarantor or seeking finance.
