What this section provides

RBI may inspect CICs, credit institutions and specified users for statutory purposes. Entities must produce books, accounts and documents and provide information sought by authorised inspecting personnel. Inspection readiness therefore extends beyond CICs to institutions and users participating in the credit-information ecosystem.
