- Establishments with six or more workers are eligible to engage apprentices under Rule 7B; engagement is not obligatory where worker strength does not exceed forty.
- Worker strength uses average strength in the preceding financial year and includes contractual staff for the engagement band.
- Rule 7B(3) uses a 2.5%-15% annual band, with at least 5% reserved for fresher and skill-certificate-holder apprentices.
- Document whether Central or State Apprenticeship Adviser jurisdiction applies.
