Contributor Terms, Payout Terms and Disclaimer

The rules that apply when you submit an article, build a contributor profile or receive a payout.

Version 2026-10-v1 · Effective 2 October 2026 · Applies together with the site Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and Disclaimer.

The short version (the full terms below govern)

  • You keep ownership of your work. You give Finin2min a licence to publish, convert, edit for format and show it, with credit to you.
  • Finin2min decides what is published, edited or removed — its decision on acceptance, rejection and removal is final.
  • Earnings are based on qualifying views counted by Finin2min's systems, not on the public view counter. Finin2min's records are final.
  • Earnings are calculated monthly, audited for 10 days, and paid by the end of the following month — only after verified KYC, to an account in your own legal name.
  • TDS and PAN rules apply; above the TDS threshold you must first submit a TDS certificate or a declaration.
  • Every acceptance of these terms is logged (time, version, IP address) so that either side can prove what was agreed.

1. Acceptance and who may contribute

1.1 You accept these terms by ticking the declaration when you submit an article, by saving payout details, or by submitting a profile, in each case after the version shown above is displayed to you. If you do not agree, do not submit.

1.2 You must be at least 18 years old, hold a registered Finin2min account with a valid e-mail address, and act in your own name. You may not contribute on behalf of an employer, client or other person unless you have written authority and say so in the article.

2. Your content, ownership and licence

2.1 Ownership. You retain the copyright in your original work.

2.2 Licence to Finin2min. By submitting, you grant Finin2min a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual licence to host, reproduce, convert between formats (for example PDF or Word to web pages), edit for formatting, headings, clarity, length, search-engine optimisation and house style, translate, excerpt, display, distribute and promote your submission and your name, photo and biography on the website, its feeds, newsletters, social channels and archives. Finin2min will credit you as the author. A licence for content already published and syndicated or archived survives removal from the live site only to the extent needed for lawful archiving, backups and records.

2.3 Original file. Finin2min may keep the file you uploaded and make it available for download beside the published article, credited to you.

2.4 No exclusivity. You may publish your work elsewhere, but you must not submit work that is simultaneously under an exclusive licence to a third party.

3. Originality, copyright and your responsibility

3.1 You confirm that the work is your own original work or that you hold all rights needed to grant the licence above; that it does not infringe any copyright, trade mark, confidentiality, privacy, publicity or other right; that it is not copied or machine-spun from another source without proper attribution and permission; and that it contains no defamatory, unlawful, misleading, discriminatory or promotional material.

3.2 You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality and consequences of what you write, including statements of law, tax and finance. Cite primary sources (Act, section, rule, notification, circular, with dates).

3.3 Indemnity. To the maximum extent permitted by law, you will indemnify and hold harmless Finin2min, its owners, editors, reviewers and personnel against claims, losses, damages, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content or your breach of these terms.

3.4 If a copyright or other complaint is received, Finin2min may remove the content immediately, suspend related earnings, and share the complaint and your identity details with the complainant or a competent authority where required by law.

4. Editorial rights — acceptance, rejection, editing and removal

4.1 Submission does not guarantee publication. Finin2min keeps the final and absolute right to accept, reject, hold, edit, re-title, re-categorise, restructure, add disclaimers to, unpublish or permanently remove any submission or published article, at any time and for any reason, including quality, accuracy, duplication, tone, legal risk, policy or business reasons, without liability to you. Where practicable the reason will be sent to you at editorial@finin2min.com.

4.2 Conversion. Files you upload (PDF, Word, HTML, text) are converted into a standard web article and reviewed by an editor before publication. The converted article may differ in layout from your file. Formats that cannot be read automatically may be rejected or require you to resubmit.

4.3 No editorial opinion, review or publication is advice or an endorsement by Finin2min of your views.

5. How views are treated, and how earnings are calculated

5.1 Two counters. Each article page shows a public view count. Earnings are based only on qualifying views, a separate count kept by Finin2min's systems.

5.2 What counts. A qualifying view is a genuine human page view recorded after the page has been displayed. The following are excluded: crawlers, bots, link-preview and automated visits; a reload or revisit within 30 minutes in the same browser session; views by the author of the article; views from a single network address beyond the fifth qualifying view of the same article; views from traffic Finin2min considers artificial, incentivised, purchased, self-generated or otherwise invalid (including through VPNs, proxies, scripts, click farms, groups or exchanges organised to inflate views).

5.3 Final determination. Finin2min's records and its determination of what is a qualifying view are final and binding. Finin2min may adjust, reverse or withhold views and earnings found to be invalid, at any time, including after approval, and may recover any payment made on such views by set-off against future earnings or otherwise.

5.4 Pay scale (per article, strict blocks of 1,000 qualifying views).

Qualifying views on one articleEarning
First 1,000₹50
Next 1,000 (1,001 to 2,000)₹75
Each further 1,000 (2,001 onwards)₹100

A part-block earns nothing until it is complete. Earnings accrue only on articles that are published and remain published. Finin2min may change the pay scale for views after the date of notice, by notice on the website or by e-mail.

5.5 No guarantee. Finin2min does not promise any number of views, any earnings, or that the programme will continue. Earnings are discretionary rewards for published contributions, not wages, and creating an account or submitting content creates no employment, agency, partnership or service relationship.

6. Payout eligibility, cycle and settlement

6.1 Eligibility. A contributor becomes eligible for payout once an article has completed the first milestone block (1,000 qualifying views) and the contributor's KYC is verified.

6.2 Calculation period. Views and earnings are calculated for each calendar month, from the 1st to the last day.

6.3 Validation and audit. All accrued traffic is subject to an audit period of 10 days after the end of the month to filter invalid traffic, bot activity and breaches of the network-address limit. Earnings are approved by the editorial team only after this audit.

6.4 Disbursement. Approved earnings are paid by the end of the following month (for example, earnings accrued and validated in October are paid by 30 November). A payout request from your dashboard does not shorten this cycle.

6.5 Payment method and name match. Payment is made only by UPI or by NEFT/IMPS bank transfer to an Indian bank account or UPI ID held in your own legal name, linked to the mobile number you have registered. Finin2min may refuse or hold a payment where the account holder name or mobile number does not match your verified KYC, and may ask for additional proof.

6.6 Failed transfers. If a transfer fails because of incorrect details given by you, Finin2min will hold the amount for a maximum of 90 days. If you do not correct your details within that period, the amount is permanently forfeited.

6.7 Forfeiture. If your account or contributions are terminated because of a breach of these terms, including the originality, traffic or conduct rules, all pending, accrued and unpaid balances are immediately voided and forfeited.

7. KYC, PAN and tax deducted at source (TDS)

7.1 KYC. Before the first payout you must provide your full legal name, mobile number, Permanent Account Number (PAN) and your UPI ID or bank account details, and these must be verified by Finin2min. Any later change returns your KYC to "pending" and may delay payment.

7.2 TDS. Payments are subject to the Income-tax Act as in force. Finin2min will deduct tax at source at the rate and under the provision applicable to the payment, on the gross payout amount, and deposit it with the Government.

7.3 Threshold certificate or declaration. Where your total payments in a financial year would exceed the TDS threshold set by Finin2min from time to time (at present ₹50,000 in a financial year, subject to change in line with law), no payment above the threshold is made until you have submitted either a valid TDS certificate (for example a lower or nil deduction certificate) or a declaration on your dashboard that you hold none and agree to deduction at the applicable rate. Finin2min may rely on the document you provide and may reject a document it cannot verify.

7.4 Missing or invalid PAN. If you do not provide a valid PAN, Finin2min may withhold the payment or deduct tax at the higher rate prescribed by law.

7.5 Certificates. Finin2min will issue TDS certificates (Form 16A or the equivalent under the law then in force) for tax deducted, within the time prescribed by law. You alone are responsible for declaring this income in your return and for any further tax, GST registration or other compliance that applies to you. Nothing here is tax advice.

8. Personal data and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023

8.1 Our role. Finin2min is the data fiduciary for the personal data you give for the contributor programme.

8.2 What we collect, and why. Name, e-mail, mobile number, photo and biography (to publish your profile, with your consent); legal name, PAN, UPI ID, bank account and TDS documents (to verify you, pay you, deduct and report tax, and meet legal obligations); and the time, IP address, browser details and the version of these terms you accepted (to keep an audit trail and resolve disputes). We use these only for those purposes.

8.3 Security. PAN, UPI, bank details are stored encrypted; they are shown back to you only in masked form and are visible to authorised staff only when needed for verification or payment. Tax certificates are kept in non-public storage. No system is perfectly secure.

8.4 Retention. Payout, tax and consent records are kept for the period required by applicable law and for as long as needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Profile details are removed from the public site when you withdraw consent or ask for removal, subject to clause 2.2.

8.5 Your rights. You may ask to access, correct or erase your data, withdraw consent (which may mean we cannot pay you), or raise a grievance, by writing to editorial@finin2min.com. See also the Privacy Policy.

8.6 Public information. Your photo, display name and biography are public once approved and may be copied by third parties; Finin2min cannot control copies made by others.

9. Profile approval

9.1 Every photo, display name and biography you submit is reviewed before it appears. Finin2min may refuse or remove a profile that is misleading, impersonates another person, uses an image you do not have the right to use, or is otherwise unsuitable.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

10.1 All content, including contributed articles, is provided "as is" for general information and education. It is not legal, tax, accounting, investment or professional advice, and readers must verify the law and facts themselves. Views expressed by contributors are theirs alone.

10.2 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Finin2min, its owners, personnel and reviewers are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, loss of profit, income, views, data or goodwill arising from the use of, or inability to use, the website or the contributor programme, from any editorial decision, removal, adjustment of views or earnings, downtime, delay, error in counting, third-party act, or any reliance on contributed content.

10.3 Finin2min's total liability to you for any claim related to the programme is limited to the earnings that were validly approved to you and remain unpaid at the time of the claim. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10.4 Finin2min acts as a platform for third-party contributions. It does not verify every statement made by contributors and is not responsible for them.

11. Suspension and termination

11.1 Finin2min may suspend or end your participation, remove content and withhold or void earnings at any time if it believes these terms or the law have been breached, or to protect the site or readers. You may stop contributing at any time; accrued, validated and approved earnings remain payable under clause 6, subject to clauses 5.3 and 6.7.

12. Audit trail of your consent

12.1 Each time you accept these terms, a declaration or a consent (article submission, payout details, profile publication, TDS declaration) Finin2min records the date and time, your account details, the document version and a cryptographic fingerprint of the exact text shown, your IP address and browser details. These records are kept as evidence in case of a dispute and may be produced to a court or authority.

12.2 A tick or click on the website is your electronic signature and acceptance under the Information Technology Act, 2000.

13. Communication

13.1 All communication about submissions, publication decisions, profile approval, milestones and payouts is sent from, and should be addressed to, editorial@finin2min.com. Finin2min will never ask you for a password or OTP.

14. Changes, governing law and disputes

14.1 Finin2min may update these terms. Each version carries a number; a new version applies to submissions and payouts made after it is published and you will be asked to accept it again where it matters. Earnings already approved are not reduced by a later change.

14.2 These terms are governed by Indian law. Courts located in Gurugram, Haryana have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory right you may have.

14.3 If any clause is held unenforceable, the rest continues in force.

Plain-language note: the aim of these terms is to keep the programme fair and transparent for genuine contributors while protecting the site from copyright claims, fake traffic and payment fraud. If anything is unclear, write to editorial@finin2min.com before you submit.
