Section 48 — Power to make rules

Empowers the Central Government to make Rules carrying the Act into operation. The Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Rules, 2011 have been repeatedly amended, including material amendments in 2020, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 and 22 June 2026. Current advice should use a consolidated rule map rather than the 2011 text alone.
