Separate fictional derivative-enabled client Arun Mehta, UCC AM-002, statement date 20 October 2026. All obligations, prices and haircuts are assumed inputs, not live exchange margin rates. No cash-equity-only onboarding sample is used to authorise this separate client.

Fictional, unsigned completed illustration. It demonstrates this form’s fields; it is not a filed return, medical opinion, official order or proof of an actual transaction.

When and how this form is used

A daily margin statement and a client-money ledger answer different questions. ₹85,000 securities collateral increases margin cover but does not increase the ₹1,09,900 cash ledger.

Haircut 15% and margin₹1,50,000 are explicit assumed inputs. SEBI does not prescribe these as permanent rates for every security or transaction. The genuine exchange/depository files determine the actual requirement and eligible value.

A re-pledge is a chain of the same securities; it must not produce duplicate collateral. The June 2025 invocation/release changes, as extended to October 2025, apply instead of obsolete transfer-and-hold instructions.

The model reconciles every movement and category. A real excess/shortfall, running-account settlement and refund must be calculated on their actual facts rather than hidden by a generic “margin sufficient” statement.

Identity and client-fund ledger

Prescribed field / sectionCompleted fictional entry
Broker / client / date / deliveryExample Broker; Arun Mehta; UCC AM-002; selected equity-derivatives segment. Statement 20 October 2026; email arun@example.invalid, synthetic identifiers. Delivery timestamp is a model entry, not a genuine sent acknowledgement.

Closing settled client-money credit ₹1,09,900. Charges are a model input, not invented statutory rates or a substitute for an itemised contract note.

Daily margin: all collateral and obligation blocks

Prescribed field / sectionCompleted fictional entry
Deposited collateral by typeCash ₹1,09,900; FDR ₹0; bank guarantee ₹0. Securities:100 listed shares × assumed closing price ₹1,000=₹1,00,000 gross; assumed applicable haircut 15%=₹15,000, eligible collateral ₹85,000. No cash transfer is created by pledging shares.
Available / required / utilisedEligible total cash+securities ₹1,94,900. Assumed exchange-computed requirement ₹1,50,000 and utilisation ₹1,50,000. Surplus ₹44,900, additional margin due₹0. Chosen recorded intraday peak requirement₹1,40,000, covered by available₹1,94,900; actual peak snapshots remain separate evidence.
Allocation and no duplicationSame 100 shares are one margin-pledge chain, not three collateral deposits when re-pledged by TM / CM . One client, one selected segment; no duplicate collateral allocation to another segment/client. Securities value and haircut must be recomputed when prices/rates change.
Release / sale / shortfall actionIf requirement rises above available, show the actual deficit and call/action; do not floor the deficit away. Client sale of pledged shares uses validated release-and-early-pay-in mechanism under the operative 2025 update. No sale, invocation or release executed in this statement.

Statements, retention and reconciliation

Prescribed field / sectionCompleted fictional entry
Client statements / correctionDaily margin statement includes deposited, used and available collateral broken down by cash/FDR/BG/securities. Separate funds/securities account statements follow applicable exchange timing. Report a real mismatch promptly through broker/exchange grievance routes; this PDF supplies no authentic exchange or bank certification.
Running-account boundaryA current daily margin surplus is not automatically an immediately due running-account refund. A real running-account mandate, settlement date, EOD obligations and permitted retention calculation are required. This daily statement does not invent an exchange settlement calendar or claim retention of all surplus is always permitted.
Private evidence / executionKeep client-bank receipt, contract notes, margin and collateral files, pledge IDs, haircut source, exchange allocations and sent statement evidence privately. Model preparer/reviewer/date 20 October; unsigned. No genuine account numbers or client credentials published.

Supporting records and reconciliation

Retain the actual records identified in each field block, approvals/authority, reporting-period reconciliation and genuine submission or delivery evidence. The fictional entries do not establish those underlying facts.

Worked calculation: Cash 1,00,000+20,000−10,000−100=₹1,09,900. Gross collateral 100×1,000=₹1,00,000; haircut 15%=₹15,000; eligible₹85,000. Available₹1,94,900−required₹1,50,000=₹44,900 surplus.
