Credit and invoice checks

Each input/capital invoice is less than one year old at the eligibility date. Inputs meet section 16/17 conditions and supplier reporting is assumed verified. Capital credit is available in clause (c), unlike a fresh-registration clause (a)/(b) stock-only claim. Original machine tax INR 9,000 × 95% = INR 8,550 per head. Claim per head = 4,500 + 1,800 + 8,550 = INR 14,850.

How this form moves the matter forward

  1. Identify the exact section 18(1) event and immediately preceding stock date.
  2. Trace item quantities and invoices, apply the capital-goods quarterly reduction where clause (c)/(d) permits capital credit, and test the one-year invoice condition.
  3. Declare within thirty days or a notified extension; apply the aggregate INR 2 lakh accountant-certification threshold and reconcile actual credit posting.

Evidence supporting these entries

Period and legal consequences

This example claims actual eligible tax, not a percentage of stock value without invoice evidence. Rule 40 uses five percentage points per quarter or part for clause (c)/(d) capital claims. Rule 44 reversal on entry into composition uses remaining useful life in months; those are different calculations.
