DIR-10: application seeking removal of disqualification
Request the competent Regional Director to consider removal of the recorded disqualification on properly evidenced grounds. Uploading DIR-10, paying arrears or compounding an underlying offence is not itself an order granting relief.

In a separate fictional case, Arun Training was reported as disqualified for an unpaid ₹2,000 share call after six months elapsed from its 1 January 2026 last payment day. A hypothetical DIR-9 had been made in August. The actual call is assumed paid 10 October; he prepares a relief application on 21 October. No authority outcome is assumed.

Check the dates, amounts and legal branch
- The 21 October draft follows the assumed payment on 10 October by 11 days. This arithmetic creates no statutory right to immediate approval.
- Rule14(5), as amended in 2023, expressly says the application is filed before the Regional Director. It is not a generic NCLT application merely because the form also asks about a genuine compounding order where applicable.
- The form cannot be used to promise early removal of every five-year section164(2) disqualification. Establish the actual ground, statutory duration, order and competent remedy; the selected unpaid-call example does not pronounce on other grounds.

- Trace the actual disqualification report, legal ground and effective date; obtain genuine default/cure or compounding evidence and identify the competent route.
- Complete the specific DIR-9 reference, individual, company, grounds and documentary explanation, using actual reference numbers only in a real application.
- Submit to the Regional Director through the prescribed route; retain the real decision and implement only relief actually granted, separately preserving past liabilities.
