Paste governed monthly data as Month,Debt,Equity,Hybrid,Solution,Other,OfficialOpenEndedNetFlow,OpenEndedAUM in ₹ crore. Values may be negative for net outflows. The bundled February–July 2026 rows are transcribed from AMFI official monthly reports and are date-stamped below.

Bundled official snapshot: AMFI monthly reports for May, June and July 2026. Latest effective month: July 2026. Refresh through the governed data pipeline before representing a later month as current.

How to use this AMFI Mutual Fund Flow Intelligence

This dashboard turns AMFI's monthly open-ended industry totals into a compact flow-intelligence view. The bundled snapshot is date-stamped rather than described as a live feed. It keeps AMFI's official open-ended net-flow total separate from the sum of top-level category subtotals so small classification or rounding differences remain visible instead of being silently forced to zero.

1. Enter factsReplace sample values with your portfolio, goal or market data.
2. Check assumptionsReturn, inflation, tax, cost and stress inputs remain visible.
3. Read the stress caseDo not rely on the base result alone when downside scenarios are available.

Calculation logic

For each category the dashboard shows the latest monthly net flow, the average of the latest three months, the difference between that three-month average and the preceding three-month average, and latest flow divided by open-ended month-end AUM. A six-month input is therefore required before prior-three-month momentum is meaningful. The bundled dataset has been extended to February–July 2026 from the official monthly reports.

Worked interpretation

A ₹20,000 crore inflow can look large in isolation. Expressing it relative to the relevant industry AUM and comparing the last three months with the prior three months provides better context, while still avoiding the claim that flows predict performance.

What this result does not prove

Industry flows are descriptive, not buy or sell signals. Large redemptions can reflect liquidity, institutional cash management, tax dates or category-specific events. Flow/AUM helps normalize scale but still does not measure future return. Refresh the data manifest before calling a later month 'current'.

Integrity rule: a calculation can be mathematically correct and still be decision-inappropriate if the inputs, source date or model assumptions are wrong. Finin2min therefore keeps model assumptions visible and avoids converting the result into a security recommendation.

Methodology, data and limitations

This Finin2min tool separates calculation from recommendation. Inputs, return assumptions and stress parameters remain visible and editable. Results are educational scenarios, not forecasts or suitability advice.

Data integrity: do not silently ship stale market/fund data. When the page uses imported official data, retain source authority, effective date, retrieval timestamp, parser version and SHA-256 in the investment data manifest.
Regulatory currentness: the 20 March 2026 SEBI Master Circular states that it consolidates relevant mutual-fund circulars only through 20 March 2026. The source panel therefore also links the Mutual Funds Regulations, 2026 as last amended on 7 July 2026 and the SEBI circulars index for post-Master-Circular developments.

Questions & answers

What does the AMFI Mutual Fund Flow Intelligence calculate?

This dashboard turns AMFI's monthly open-ended industry totals into a compact flow-intelligence view. The bundled snapshot is date-stamped rather than described as a live feed. It keeps AMFI's official open-ended net-flow total separate from the sum of top-level category subtotals so small classification or rounding differences remain visible instead of being silently forced to zero.

What assumptions drive the result?

For each category the dashboard shows the latest monthly net flow, the average of the latest three months, the difference between that three-month average and the preceding three-month average, and latest flow divided by open-ended month-end AUM. A six-month input is therefore required before prior-three-month momentum is meaningful. The bundled dataset has been extended to February–July 2026 from the official monthly reports.

Can I treat the result as a forecast or recommendation?

No. The output is an educational scenario generated from the values entered. It does not predict market returns, recommend a security or establish suitability for an individual investor.

How should I handle market or mutual-fund data?

Use a current, complete dataset with a recorded effective date. Where the page requires imported scheme, NAV, TER, portfolio or industry data, Finin2min should publish or retain the source authority, retrieval date, parser version and file hash.

What are the main limitations?

Industry flows are descriptive, not buy or sell signals. Large redemptions can reflect liquidity, institutional cash management, tax dates or category-specific events. Flow/AUM helps normalize scale but still does not measure future return. Refresh the data manifest before calling a later month 'current'.

Financial information disclaimer: Investments involve risk. Calculations may omit taxes, costs, liquidity constraints, tracking difference, execution risk or individual circumstances unless explicitly entered. Verify current official documents before acting.
