How Finin2min checks professional credentials
This page states exactly what each badge on a professional listing means, what we verify, what we do not verify, and how to report a listing you believe is wrong. It is written so a user, a professional, or a regulator can hold us to it.
What the badges mean

What we do not do
- We do not rank, rate or score professionals, and we publish no star ratings.
- We do not publish or compare professional fees, and we run no fee bidding.
- We do not accept payment for prominence. Listing order is not for sale.
- We do not describe anyone as "best", "top", "leading" or "recommended".
- We do not publish identity documents, credential files, private phone numbers, private email addresses or residential addresses.
- We do not perform a KYC process, and we do not use the term "KYC verified".
Why it is restrained
Most professionals listed here are members of regulated bodies. ICAI's rules on advertising and solicitation, in particular, do not permit a Chartered Accountant to be presented through competitive ranking, public rating or fee comparison. Rather than apply one loose ruleset to everyone, we hold the whole directory to the strictest applicable standard. Where a feature would be permissible for some professions but not others, it stays off until it can be enabled profession-by-profession with the relevant clearance recorded.
How consultation requests work
Selecting Request Consultation sends your enquiry to the professional. It is a request, not a confirmed booking, and no appointment exists until the professional responds and accepts. Scope, timelines and fees are agreed directly between you and the professional. Finin2min is not a party to that engagement and does not supervise the professional work performed.
Reporting a listing
If you believe a listing is inaccurate, impersonates someone, or misstates a qualification, email editorial@finin2min.com with the profile URL and what is wrong. We remove listings pending review where there is a credible claim of impersonation or a false credential. Professionals may request correction or removal of their own listing at any time.
Changes to this page
Badge definitions are versioned. If a badge's meaning changes, existing listings are re-evaluated against the new definition rather than silently inheriting it.
